The JV Basketball Knights completed their season with a win over Walter Johnson Wildcats 61-50. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 12-3 overall on the season while Wheaton improved their record to 9-6. The Knights were the first JV Boys Basketball team at Wheaton to finish with a record above a .500 win percentage in quite some time.

This game the Knights surrendered an early lead, finishing the first quarter in a 11-15 deficit. In the second quarter the Knights gained an advantage, taking a 3-point lead into the half and never looking back. The Knights leading scorers in the contest were Demarco Rush with 17 points, Aiden Abuki with 16 points and Wesley Nchinda with 14 points. The Knights had a very successful season led by a group of eight sophomore’s who will look to make an impact on the varsity team this year and beyond. The 5 freshman will look to return next season and take on a leadership role on JV in the 2018-19 season.
