The Lady Knights Track and Field team competed at the DCC Championships this past Saturday. Wheaton finished in 2nd place overall.

The Lady Knights were led by sophomore Madison Depry who won three individual events and anchored the winning 4×100 relay. Madison was a winner in the 100m (12.0), 200 (24.8), and High Jump (5′ 0″).

Madison also teamed up with juniors Kamil Poawui and Tamia Bowers as well as sophomore Alyssa Poawui to win the 4×100 relay in 51.4 seconds.

Kamil, Tamia, and Alyssa along with junior Caroline Djakuduel won the 4×200 in the season best 1:48.6.

Caroline was also the winner if the discus with a toss of 76′ 10″. Caroline was also second in the long jump with a leap of 15′ 0.5″.
